The Pontiac GTO – An American Muscle Car
General Motors is one of the biggest and most popular automakers in the world. It operates in over 157 countries and has 205,000 employees, producing both cars and trucks. It is also known for producing many iconic cars, including the classic Pontiac GTO. The first models of the GTO were not only beautiful and powerful, but they were more affordable than the European counterparts of the day. They were not as expensive as the cars from BMW and Mercedes Benz whose top models cost, on average, more than $50,000.
