Choosing a Masticating Juicer
The dictionary defines the word “masticate” as “chewing” or “teeth-gnashing”, and a masticating juicer does the very same thing. It literally “chews” fruit and vegetable fibers to produce a pulp-laden juice that is rich in trace minerals, vitamins, fibers, and enzymes. This kind of juicer usually functions at a lower rotation per minute than other juicers like Hamilton Beach 932 commercial citrus juicer or Breville juicers. The slower speed reduces noise and foam levels and produces larger quantities of juice at the same time.
